This November five rangatahi will be selected to complete their openwater 18 meter scuba certificates with Ngāti Pāoa ki Waiheke, Epic Scuba and the Waiheke Marine Project. This involves a day of training in the pool followed by two shore dives set to take place at Enclosure Bay, Waiheke Island. The five selected will be supported by our Kahapairuku Manawhenua. Leanne Castle. They will follow this education route to enable their kaitiakitanga of our moana by participating in the offerings of other pipi / projects through out the Waiheke Marine Project.
