This January, five Waiheke community youth will be selected to complete their open water (18 meter) scuba certificates with Epic Scuba and the Waiheke Marine Project. This involves a day of training in the pool followed by two shore dives set to take place at Enclosure Bay, Waiheke Island. The five selected will be supported by our Kahapairuku, Tessa O'Shea. They will follow this education route and become stewards of our moana by participating in the offerings of other pipi / projects through out the Waiheke Marine Project.
