Carys Templer

Coordinator

Like the sails of a ship we as coordinators are here to create structure for the actions of protection and regeneration to move onwards and the community is the wind in our sails giving us energy, guidance, support and drive.

My role is supporting the overall coordination of the WMP. This is a part time role to amplify, catalyze and connect the mahi in the community

.I hold a degree in Geography. My background is in waste reduction, composting and community engagement. I'm an active member of the Waiheke Community; volunteering for multiple activities on the island and a board member of Cycle Action Waiheke.

Personally I'm an ocean lover, open water swimmer, surfer, sailer and diver so it's an absolute honour and enriches my life to be a part of the Waiheke Marine Project.
